Founded in 1996 by Scott, originally as the Scott Smith Agency, our journey began in Sidney, NY. Scott, having worked with a larger insurance company, saw the need for a more personal touch and opened his doors without any prior customers. Over the years, we have grown significantly.
In 2000, we rebranded to Neighbors Insurance Agency and expanded with a new office in Oneonta, NY. This expansion has allowed us to serve a broader community. Each year, we are increasingly grateful for our customers and the opportunity to protect what matters most to them.
